For generations, Archana, the Land behind the Great Barrier, has been protected by its leader, The Creator, his advisor, The Familiar, and their elite soldiers, The Guardians. Currently, Creator Xinar sits on the throne with the 457-year-old Familiar Ingrid. The four Guardians Fremont, Bao, Warinot, and Esmun, have been guarding the kingdom for a decade, taught by Mphu Lonix.
However, all is not well in Archana. The citizens are anxious. The transition to Creator Xinar was not a smooth one, and due to the age of the Mphu, rumors that the Guardians were too weak to defend them spread among the citizens. This fear is magnified by the uptick in Monsters known as Idemoni in the city, from human taulagia users to terrifying monsters that are supposed to be kept out by the barrier. When fears and doubts are rising in the people’s hearts, can the Guardians reassure them?
