Freedom hovers outside the cell window like a bird. The prisoner stares longingly at it, wishing it was his. But can he truly be free? And if he is, is it really better than the prison he finds himself in now?
Education Day, 2000
Hi, usually I put a summary of the story here, but I can’t think of anything good, so instead, I’m going to talk about my inspiration for this writing. I struck inspiration when a podcast I listened to talked about images about what people thought the future would look like. Doing my own research, I found this one from a 1900s collection known as “France in the Year 2000” and thought I’d write a story about it.
Hope you enjoy it! I may be missing next week due to the fact I’m moving to college, but hopefully, Chapter 1 of Guardians Book 2 will come out on time.

But as Neo-Coin takes off in popularity and begins to bring all companies under one banner, the question becomes, can we stop it?

This won’t be the fate of my website. I’ll work to keep it running and not abandon it to gather dust in the void of the internet.
Endings and Beginnings
This is a final paper that I wrote for one of my classes, the prompt being “Imagine you are at the end of your life, how would you look back at your life, what would be some things that you remember fondly?”
Since it’s the first original creative piece that I’ve written in months, I decided to post it here as well. Enjoy!
The Power of a Story
Some people say that money makes the world go round, others say love. However, I choose to believe that it’s stories that do it. If you truly think about it, It’s astounding that sounds uttered from a person’s mouth or ink spread across a piece of paper can hold us down better than any lock […]
